Trying a new thing here, so yeah follow my blog with Bloglovin'. :) Also as my photoshop hasn't been working for a few days, so I decided to add some pictures from the web that I like for a reason or another. Kinda like my inspiration of sorts.

I have always been a true Coca-Cola girl, though lately I have been limiting my usage as its not that healthy to consume in large quantities. 

I love love love cherry tree's, they are so sweet and innocent. I always wanted to visit Japan during spring to see this!

Halloween is my favorite holiday, well after christmas, its the time I get really creative with my decorations.

Fishy Fishy

I've always dreamed about having a fisheye lens for my camera, but instead my mom got me a bigger lens than the original one I had. Ok so my mom was actually smart about this. Anyway the other day I stumbled upon this app in the app store for a fish eye effect and tadaa here are the results. The quality kinda sucks or then its just the lack of light lol. Lets see if its better in sunlight.

The Little Happiness

Okey so I saw Irina do this and I wanted to pick out my favorites as well. Turns out there are too many to list lol. Really the small things in life just are so many and some you don't even realize. We people take so many things in life for granted and usually we don't know the worth of these things until we lose it. Hopefully this site can provide you with some enjoyment for the moments that should not be missed. Somethings you can never get back once they are lost. Everyday is a gift, so lets be happy :)

This post is not about naive people just about some good food I, my panda and Jenna made. We got down and dirty and whipped out some dumplings and some sugar vinegar meat(someone come up with a name for this dish, I am going crazy!!). We got a bit carried away with the ingredients and amounts, yet we came up with some delicious results. To prove myself take a look at this poor excuse for a photoshopping attempt. I really need to take a nap now.... "10 minutes later" oh man forgot to post this post and the picture.
okey, so if anyone is interested in making dumplings it is so easy that you will laugh and cry at the same time. Oh yeah we used as filling some elks meat and shrimp, hence the two different bowls of filling. I also noticed that the christmas table cloth we still have is very suitable for the chinese new year theme as well, see great coordination. Allrighty I'm gonna go drink some more soy sauce before my third nap today. Have a great day!

The Year of The Dragon!

Happy Chinese New Year! 

新年快乐！

Today as you can see from the pictures was the Chinese New Year, the year changed at 6 pm Finnish time. We went to see the celebrations they had in Helsinki. Though the first thing we did was go to eat since we were so hungry. Then we watched some performances like the dragon dances and the most important part was the awesome fireworks! Unfortunately I only had my phone with me, how come a crazy photographer girl forgets her camera? Well sleep in late and then leave in a hurry with a headache. yep that does it. Anyways it was a great day. We started our new year celebration already yesterday with practicing how to make dumplings so tomorrow we can really make them. Posting some pictures of that process tomorrow. Soon I'll be a master in Chinese cuisine.

Detroit

I visited my sisters exchange parents in Detroit a few times, though I have very little picture material of those trips but heres some pictures. Also getting really frustrated with blogger and flickr, everywhere I run out of space for pictures. I don't want to pay for space, come on I'd rather not post any pictures then(well not true but kinda). Anyway good thing I like photoshoping so at least you can get many pics though in very small sizes. So as you can see we visited a cider mill where I got a candy apple, whoa that was sticky. They had a really nice creek in the area where we even saw a crab. The other thing that one should do if you are from Finland well that is to go see a NHL game and of course since we were in Detroit we went to see the Detroit Red Wings against Nashville Predators. Worst part was both teams had finnish players as in Detroit has Valtteri Filppula and Nashville has Pekka Rinne. We had a dilemma here. After the game we went to see the Hard Rock Café in the center, as our Hard Rock thing started with my sisters exchange parents, at least I think so :)

Toronto In December

Still with these late posts, but pictures are always worth sharing. So its a bit odd looking at some Christmas stuff in them but so what. Toronto was truly magical during this trip I loved it! So get ready for a overload of pictures.
