Snowflakes

Just realized I never posted what I finally did to the nails I posted about in the beginning of December. I found after some googling a cool thing as a nail stamp and had to immediately order a pack and try it out. I'm quite in love with it now, especially the snowflakes and loved the speedy delivery and extra gifts I got. Can't wait to try out some more cool designs later on. If I ever have time haha, I guess I should post why I'm so busy lately since I write about it all the time. I think perhaps the new year would be a good time to reveal it. Let's see.

White and Red

I guess I can wrap up this year with finally posting these outfit pictures from earlier in December that I just never had time to post. Thats how you know Christmas time is super busy. The small breaks of time I have I used to to everything else not blog. Hopefully this New Year starting soon I'll have some more time to post and enjoy healthy living. You can note that we suddenly got a lot more snow than what these pictures reveal, but as I'm still not quite well I'm not taking the risk and wondering out into the wonderful winter wonderland we have here. Gosh I love that red scarf and white knit combo. Gotta wear it again soon. Now gonna head down to dinner and try to enjoy the evening. :)

Christmas time, where did you go?

Oh my gosh, its almost 2015! I know most bloggers are already focusing on other things and looking forward to the New Year, but I'm not. Mostly because I spent the entire Christmas time in a fever and still I'm not fully recovered. Yet I want to post about it as Christmas time is my favorite time of the year. The first two pictures are of Christmas Eve, I tried to take a outfit pic but I was so tired and red nosed that I chose just to display my shirt that I paired with black jeans and a santa claus hat. Now that there are three little kids in our Christmas celebrations, the amount of gifts has increased greatly but it makes Christmas Eve so magical. Watching the pure joy of children is just priceless. Before Christmas there was this TV show about Christmas lights in the US and families competing for a price. Well me and my mom might have gotten carried away with our lights this year, but those candy cane lights are just too cute! Earlier this fall I made some cakes with fondant icing and since we still had some left we used it to decorate our gingerbread house. The snowflake shapes are so cute. I tried out making a fondant snowman to stand in front of the house but he seems to be a little crooked. Maybe just like me.

Okay so I found a picture of myself on Christmas Eve, with a red nose and dark under eyes. haha Hope you guys enjoy :)

Everyday...

Yaay, it's my favorite time of the year! Christmas is almost around the corner. Though I started decorating already in November but since my time is limited during the day I just had to take the advantage early on. Just as with getting Christmas gifts. Anyway just popping in to quickly post some everyday pics. Had some frozen macarons, they were nice but I should try to make some on my own.

Ah Christmas!

Christmas, my favorite time of the year. When I get to decorate with candles and snowflakes. The smell of cookies and glögi fills the air. Christmas songs fill the air and one feels at peace. Soon I'll be going back home to spend Christmas with my family, but in a way I am sad. My own place is so nice and Christmassy at the same time. The only thing currently missing is snow and according to the news it won't be here for Christmas. Christmas just isn't the same without snow.. Maybe there might be a miracle in store for us?

It's the most wonderful time of the year

I guess there might be a lot of people that are already sick and tired of all things Christmas, but I just love it! I wish it wouldn't end. I just love looking at all the decorations and laying around watching movies. I'm just a lazy kind of girl.
I also reconstructed what I wore on Christmas Eve, well almost :) I saw the black dress in Bik Bok and I just couldn't get it off my mind. Eventually I went and got it. There is something about the dress and the lovely silver on it that I love.
It's the most wonderful time of the year... There'll be much mistltoeing... And hearts will be glowing ... When love ones are near... ah Christmas songs..
Panda is a crazy being, yes he is. He has been listening to me complain about my feet freezing, therefore those little shoes found their way under the Christmas tree. I'm just too worried about ruining them to wear them :D
Alrighty, not much to say yet again. I think its time to lay a bit more on the couch and watch some more movies :) Have a great Sunday night!

Candy Cane

I will never again work in between the days of Christmas, it just is not worth it at all. Luckily I didn't loose my mood, I'm just deadly tired after those two days of working. Luckily I got to see some friends on those days too so it wasn't that bad.
I've been working on this new layout and header for the blog, what do you guys think? I felt like having something more winter related for a change. Also here are my nails, that were inspired for Christmas. For the actual day I had all my nails with the two streak and that looked better as a whole. I just forgot to take a picture of it. I also forgot to take a picture of my outfit, but I did a reconstruction and took some pictures of it today. I should have them posted tomorrow.

It's odd how I always think, this year I'll start earlier and then never do but this year I somewhat did in a way. I've also gotten so many things done that I normally forget to do, like bake cookies and decorate them. I also introduced panda to sledding, which seems to be his new favorite winter activity. I can't wait to teach him downhill skiing :) Alrighty guys, hope you had a great Christmas and remember to rest well!

Christmas Eve

Oh how I love Christmas time! Though this will be my first time working during the in between days, aka between Christmas and New Year. I really hope my Christmas mood won't be totally ruined at work, but I already decided that I will try every year to get time off in between since I don't want to stress about going to work.
We used to spend all our Christmases at home, but since my sister has her own family and so on, now we spend Christmas Eve's on a rotation schedule. It works nicely and sometimes we get to spend two sets of gifts, as we don't want to drag all our gifts to our Christmas Eve destination.

Christmas Time

Love love loving the Christmas time, all the twinkling lights and colorful things. Heres some things I brought to my Helsinki home, I'm just a little crazy for this time of year. I hear people complaining about snow and the cold air, yet I am really happy to see the winter wonderland we live in. I don't really mind the cold as I just have a good reason to wear large scarves and big knits. My only problem is that I lack some good warm flat shoes. I have a few warm high heeled shoes but I'm not that used to wearing them on a daily basis. I should just get used to it.

I really should think about what to wear next week for my graduation. I have no idea about what to wear, though I have one old dress that could be a good option or I can visit some stores to see if there is something nice and sparkling I could wear.

Gosh I look so odd in all these outfit pictures, did you guys notice I wore this outfit in three different ways? I had trouble choosing what I liked the most.

I'm so happy to have some flowers at home now, though I'm worried that I'll kill them like my usual habit. I either water too little or too much, but I learned that the few christmas time plants I have don't need that much water :)
