Wedding Look

Its June already?? Are you kidding me, haha. So much has happened yet it feels like time stands still and then suddenly you snap out of it and realize how much time has passed. Have to say my stress levels are suddenly higher, the approaching wedding makes me nervous.

Anyway I came quickly to post these pics to show off my wedding make up, well not the real one but a trial round. I thought I wanted something really natural but in the end I wanted something more dramatic. Its your wedding day, at least one day you can look different than normal. I'm really happy with this though when Panda saw it he laughed at me. Men really don't know how to react, luckily he said that I look good just if he hadn't seen it before the wedding he might have thought he went to the wrong wedding. :D

Now I just can't wait for the actual day, and well have to figure out what to do with my hair. Especially those nasty little ones. More to come soon ;)

22 Lashes

Birthdays are great, you get good food and see people you like. Well almost though of course you get older but its a part of life and in any case it should be a joyful moment. It is a good thing to be alive and living. Just make sure you enjoy your life and don't waste it waiting for something you think is better. Waiting for something better is just a false image given by disney movies, your life is how you make it and if something is not how you wanted then change it. Thats what I think :)

So to the vain point of this post, I tried out some Dolly wink lashes, they are for the bottom part of your eye and as I have very little lashes on the bottom part it was good to use falsies.

Pale Skin, Green Eyes

For Panda's graduation I yet again tried fake eye lashes. This time they were from the Make up store. I was in a hurry to put them on so they were a bit off and came off quickly. Anyway here is a few pictures.

 Hahah, in natural light I'm so pale. That's what you get when you are a typical Finn. Now in Hong Kong surprisingly I got sunburnt yet again, too pale skin gets easily burnt even with suntan lotion.

What's the Point in Listening If You Can't Hear What I'm Saying

I guess this was last spring when I had a lot of time to play around with make up. I wanted to have something that was like candy or like a fairytale. So I combined silver with purple and this is what the end result was. I kinda like it, but there isn't much use for it in everyday life.

Oli varmaan viime kevättä kun mulla oli paljon aikaa kikkailla meikeillä. Halusin kehitellä jotain mikä oli kuin karkkia tai kuin satu. Joten yhdistin liilaa hopealla ja tällästä sain aikaan. Tykkäsin tästä suuresti mutta eipä tälläsellä meikillä ole arkipäivänä kovinkaan käyttöä. 

Feeling the Fakeness

I got this idea one day to try out false lashes, this came from the fact that my natural lashes are quite short and well I just wanted to see how it looks. First off I bought some lashes and then watched some videos off youtube to see how to put them on, well one girl said it took her like 7 times to get them on right the first time and for me just one. LOL. The lashes felt kinda odd on, but not that bad. I was expecting worse, and the lashes I had were pretty good. The glue stuck to my lid quite easily and didn't really come off until later in the evening. So it was quite successful.

So the lashes I got in Canada, their of the brand Quo and model 806. I really liked these. I actually have another pair from make up store that I should try out some day. Considering it only took me 10 min to apply the fake lashes but still I'm too lazy to wear them everyday. Gotta say the pictures I took wearing them are bad, or like you can't see the lashes but oh well better than nothing. Oh yeah I fell in love with the woolen shirt I have on in the pictures in Canada, but at first I almost didn't get it as its from H&M and I felt it would be to lame to buy something from a store that is also in Finland. Hat's from Forever 21, my love!
