Oh the Lights

I got a little creative with my camera the other day, one friend of mine tried out a bokeh kit of theirs so I decided to make my own. Though I think my lens is a bit too big for this, but it was fun to do. I had to take my little baby the camera to be repaired and now I feel so empty without it. I hope I can get it back soon. I'm somewhat tired after last weeks work so this post will be short. Hope everyone had a nice week and a relaxing weekend!

Feels like a poem

Wind blowing between your windowsill
Red apples on your plate
Rain dripping on your face
Wet socks in your shoes
Crisp cold air
Warm candle light
Juicy red apples
White vanilla sauce
Thick scarves in burgundy
Orange, yellow and red in trees
Dreams of Halloweens to come
All the little things of fall

Black and White Memories

Lately I've been busy because Im writing my thesis among all other school matters. Its keeping me quite busy but luckily I will be done before easter. After that life will be much easier. How do I have time then to post now, well Im sitting in class where Im being taught about "when you someday write your thesis" yeah almost done. Anyways enjoy the few pictures I have from a trip to Turku.

Something in Nothing

It's always interesting to take pictures, sometimes a random picture turns out to be very interesting. Like the picture above, wonder what was happening in the picture?

Streetlight's Purpose

The true sign that fall is here, is the need for a streetlight. You never really know the value of them until they go out when you are in the middle of nowhere with no light.

The Lonely Star

"Every fool knows you can't touch the stars, but it doesn't stop a wise man from trying." - Harry Anderson
A philosopher once asked, "Are we human because we gaze at the stars, or do we gaze at them because we are human?" Pointless, really... "Do the stars gaze back?" Now *that's* a question. - Stardust movie

Splash

Seems most my post lately are about water, but it truly is a inspirational topic. It's ever changing yet always remains the same.

Wonders of the Night

"It is one of life's bitterest truths that bedtime so often arrives just when things are really getting interesting." - Lemony Snicket
Night time can truly be an interesting time for creativity, yet for some reason night time is quite underestimated.

Water is Life

Water, the one thing that combines the entire world. It's the one thing we can't live without, so why do we waste it so mindlessly?

So Fluffy I Could Die

Sometimes nature surprises you with things you didn't think you would see in it. Like fluffy little balls on branches.

Hope a Stairway Away?

Ever wonder where do they get their ideas for horror movies? Simple from normal old farm houses, just take a look at the basement and you will understand. Also how is it that salvation is always a path of darkness with a light at the end of the tunnel? Hope perhaps.
"In reality, hope is the worst of all evils, because it prolongs man's torments." - Friedrich Nietzsche

What Is Not Seen

Sometimes having nothing to do, results in coming up with something really fun to do. Light is more complex than we ever give it credit to. Also the endless creativity that the human mind is capable of, why do we underestimate it?

The Beautiful Time of Twilight

The sunniest of days comes to an end, the dark night then swallows the light. Though in between day and night there is a moment for twilight. The moment when the sky is illuminated with lights and colors, though it can be a desperate darkness yet it can be a marvelous scene of pure art.
"Age is opportunity no less than youth itself, though in another dress and as the evening twilight fades away the sky is filled with stars, invisible by day." - Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
"Twilight again, Another ending. No matter how perfect the day is, it always has to end." - Stephenie Meyer
