Filter your world

I got some new filters for my camera that help to intensify colors. I'm still practicing how to use them properly, but like in the above picture it helped to make the lake have a more intense color. I also tried out another with the fall colors that I'll be posting later on. I'd really like to try one of the filters during sunset but haven't really had the chance yet as I'm mostly stuck at home. Maybe next summer then. Can't wait to test these with snow, though I heard this winter will have very little snow. I realized I didn't take a picture of the actual filter set so maybe I'll post that later on if I remember. My memory hasn't really been the best of late. Also my ability to tell time has been effected but oh well, time is a relative concept anyway.

The Pink Joy

So these were my last gel nails I got. Way too girly for my taste but quite a nice change. I really miss having gel nails, they were super easy but also right now I can't even recall how it felt to have these nails. Funny how the mind works. I feel like the past month just fly by but also it feels like a lifetime. Luckily I have had some time to enjoy the beautiful Fall weather and colors. I'm even happy that I got to enjoy some long missed coffee from Tim Hortons. Oh the little joys.

Throwback to Summer in Tallinn

Can't believe its October already. Time really flies and apparently last time I posted something I was catching a cold and today I'm hopefully getting better from a high fever. Ironic. I decided earlier that I wouldn't write much about my personal life in detail here and I'm keeping to that but I just have to say my life changed hugely at the end of August. I have learned so much new in this short time and my life will never be the same again in a wonderful way. Its been a tiring time being fully employed all the time and lacking proper sleep but its so rewarding at the same time.

Anyway here are some pictures from a trip to Tallinn. Panda and I took a boat to Tallinn and chose to spend way too much time in the city as the return trip was late in the evening. I have to say my feet were killing me by the end, but then again we saw so much and had time to shop though I was disappointed in the shops. Dunno when I will have another chance to go shopping in the near future though. It was also a really hot day to be walking around so we had to stop several times to get something to drink. We eventually stopped at a park and Panda took a nap. All in all it was a very tiring trip.

I was wearing another cool maxi skirt that I've been using a lot this summer, just didn't realize to take an outfit picture. I was surprised to find a Victoria's Secret in Tallinn, of course just cosmetics but I was glad to get some new shower gel. Also a nice star cardigan and a top from H&M.

Sunset

I have been super busy lately and now seems I'm catching a cold. None the less decided to post some pictures I took during a lovely summer night and my favorite long dress that I wore a lot during the summer. I'm gonna try to get some rest now, but I'll be back with some more things to say.

The Kimono of My Dreams

So here it is the Kimono I made for myself. My little DIY project turned out quite successful. I posted earlier some sneak peak pictures to this and finally you guys can see the end product. It was a fairly easy project but there were some OOOH I should have done that before this moments but still I'm very happy with it. The fabric is a tad thicker than what a hot summers day would require but its still very nice to throw one to avoid too much sun. I also saw a dress at Promod made from the exact same fabric! I'm also super glad I added the lace trim to it, it turned out so much better than what I originally thought.

Ok so I'll stop with the ranting on how wonderful it is and how proud I am of myself. I'm already planning new projects, which are more related to fixing old shirts I just don't wanna throw away. But in the meanwhile here is some nice barbecue pics and the awkwardly positioned me. Oh how I miss the sun from these pics, please come again!
