Set fire to the sky

Sunsets are so lovely, colorful, joyful. In Finland of course during summertime they are allusive as the day just keeps going and during winter the night seems forever. Yet when you do catch one it is as if the sky is on fire.

Hope Panda and the girls don't mind they ended up in one of my posts, but this was the last night we all would be together. Well of course hopefully not forever but it wouldn't be as easy as it used to. It was maybe the first time the change felt so real, even though I graduated last year already but this night was the first time I realized how it was an end of an era for all of us in away. Things would never be quite the same and we all had different kinds of paths to follow. Yet I'm sure we will keep in contact but it just wouldn't be the same.

The days of summer: filled with flowers and bees, soap bubbles and yard games... all fun activities we wish could last forever. Cakes of strawberry and vegetables from your own garden, please say it won't end?? Too bad its already the end of July and most of August I'll be spending in an office. Oh the torment. Well at least there are still some days of summer left and my birthday to look forward to..

Flowery Peplum

Summer, sun, flowers and a peplum shirt.. what a nice combination. Though I must say, I should supervise better when Panda takes pictures of me. Look at this, I'm in the sun but still in the shade.. I think I need to teach Panda some lessons in taking pictures and making the object of the picture look good aka me :) Its been a few stressful weeks and especially days. Trying to teach and also figure out plans for next year, which soon I fear will be too late if I don't act quickly. In this rare occasion I'm super indecisive, which is rare for me. I usually know exactly what I want.

Where on earth did the warm summer days go? Not that I'm one of those people that love hot days, nor hate cold. I just feel like I need more days of summer. Maybe I just need to rest a little more or maybe I need to get more things done. Oh well lets see what today and tomorrow bring. I think I need a little nap to get my thinking straight again.. Windy days

Just a little quick post, to show off the fact that I need to find nice brown shoes. The past two days have been somewhat cold, I hope this won't be the case for the rest of my vacation. Anyway back to my day of laziness and not doing much. Its relaxing but I should start to get some things done. Well lets worry about that tomorrow.
